I test drove a 2.0 diesel last week. The car was very responsive. The range of movement between the driving seat and the steering wheel enabled me to very quickly find positions that suited me. Usually this takes ages! I am a frequent flyer and am used to bowling up to airports and stepping into and off with a hire car so I do feel somewhat qualified to offer a view. The overall feel of the car was a very positive one. The ride was comfortable I very quickly got the hang of where everything was/ I am seriously considering buying one and have a dealer quote to get started with.My only decision to make is it the Greenline 1.6 or 2.0 4x4.

2 litre 4 x 4 Diesel - Is great in snow, now been going for over 12 months - Apart from a low oil light nothing else wrong (Synthetic oil is expensive though!), included the 4x4 option as I go fishing & used to get stuck in mud !!, now no longer a problem. Ride is firm but even the missus likes it !!. Also quite quick after loosening up after 5,000 miles, all in all an excellent buy & quite economical compared to my old Scenic.

Have just taken delivery of a 1.2 DSG Elegance and driven its first 500 miles on a regular run to France. Only incident was a tyre pressure monitor warning. Tyre checked, no problems, monitor reset, no repetition. Engine works hard up the long hills with a fully loaded vehcile but copes well. Overall mpg 33.8, including urban streches and and autoroute. It will be interesting to see any change over this regular route as the engine and tyres bed down.

Hi,bought a Yeti 20th march, owned it for 11 days,2 of which it wasnt used.Since then been in Dealers with a severe problem which they cannot identify ! The car gives a sort of thud, like when a car jumps out of gear, then it stutters and wont drive, the 'Technician' at the Dealer drove it and had to return it to the Garage with Hazards lights flashing as it was spluttering along the road barely able to move, apparently it nearly threw him through the windscreen !! It's been with the Dealer since 31st March and still no idea what the problem is.
Loved the car otherwise, and have owned 3 Octavia VRS's prior to this !!
