Ford Fusion

I have a 53reg Fusion 3 that has now done 64k miles. I get about 320 miles on a full tank and that generally includes several longish trips of 60 to 120 miles each month. I'm pretty satisfied with acceleration, ride, handling, performance and all-round utility. It's a very practical car for a couple,or a family with 2 kids. Quirky appearance doesn't appeal to everyone but I like cas that have some individuality.
However, the downsides are a tendency to bounce on uneven roads and if I'm accelerating from standstill but turning left or right at the same time, I get either wheel judder or wheelspin as the drive train doesn't like the power to be applied too harshly.
The 1.6 petrol engine is very responsive and the car is very quick - not as quick as the Fiesta, which is lighter, but still very useful.
This is a car that I feel safe in.
