Purchased from new, excellent to drive, 27-28 mpg, satnav is very poor, £100 to upgrade twice a year, best to search on internet and can obtain CD upgrade for £25 with full postcodes and speed cameras thrown in. BMW let us down here!
Camber was out on rear wheels, very costly and went through a set of rear tyres in 19K instead of 30K as I had previously.
Drivers front seat started smoking and heating up excessively whilst driving, burned leather seat, my trousers and skin, very unhappy. I paid £60K for this car and have owned it for over 5 years, it is not worth the money and if you buy a new one, use autoebid and save yourself some cash, dealerships are not the best place to buy this type of car, it is over priced!
As stated, it is a good car to drive, however, these issues have spolied my experience and lost my faith in BMW.
Went to buy a new 6 series sports convertible this month and it is only available as an auto. I like to drive a sports car and prefer manual box, BMW have lost a customer.
