The VW T-Roc R arrives

It's not the first R SUV from VW, (remember the Touareg R50 from 2008?) but it's been 11 years since they released one and looking at the T-Roc specs things have moved on a lot.

The new car will make 300PS (400Nm) and comes with VW's 4MOTION four-wheel drive system and DSG box. You can choose a range of sporty colours but no doubt the standard R color, Lapiz Blue, will be the best seller.

The car looks like you'd expect an R model to, lots of aggressive styling and everything that bit more menacing than the standard models.

We're not sure about the target market for this car but we're pretty confident that anything that's come from R GmbH is probably going to be a hit based on recent history.
